New Delhi: Oppo India has officially released its latest ColorOS 16 July update for eligible devices, unveiling the latest fingerprint customization options, camera features, and system improvements. This latest update also adds fingerprint unlock customization, new camera filters, Contact Poster preview support, smoother multitasking animations, and Face Unlock enhancements.
This latest update brings the latest fingerprint unlock animations and icon styles, by enabling users to mix and match different combinations to personalize their device’s unlock experience. However, the native Camera application now includes two latest filters: Primrose and Bold B&W. These latest filters offer additional shooting options for portraits and monochrome photography directly from the Camera application.
ColorOS 16 now lets users preview and customize Contact Posters before assigning them, by enabling users to personalize how they appear during calls. This upgrade also debuts with smoother transition animations when unveiling and switching between applications from the Recent Tasks screen, improving the multitasking experience. It also adds support for backup face profiles for Face Unlock, enabling users to register a secondary face profile that can be useful when wearing glasses or makeup.
This update also includes general system refinements for improved stability and performance optimizations for better overall responsiveness. ColorOS 16 July Update is rolling out in phases throughout July for the following eligible devices, including:
