New Delhi: OPPO is rolling out its new OPPO A7 Pro Max and leaks have given almost all information regarding its new smartphone. Its most obvious feature is its massive battery with a capacity of 10,000mAh, the largest ever seen in an OPPO phone. In spite of having a big battery, the phone reportedly is incredibly thin at 8.47mm and weighs approximately 226g.
OPPO A7 Pro Max will be powered by 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate that promises smooth scrolling of the display and better visual results. It will likely also feature a fingerprint scanner in display for convenience. The smartphone is reported to be pre-loaded with the ColorOS 16 version which runs on Android 16.
The new Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor CPU is tipped as the power unit for the device under the hood. The phone may include up to 12GB of RAM according to a recent listing on Weibo, though it remains to be seen whether that figure is accurate, and storage specs could be up to 512GB, which allows for ample storage for apps, games, photos, and videos.
For the camera, the OPPO A7 Pro Max is likely to have a high-resolution 50MP sensor at the back side that will be aided by 2MP sensor. The front side can be equipped with a 50MP selfie camera that can encourage selfie lovers and video calls. The layout of the rear camera is somewhat basic, but the high-quality front camera is something special in this class.
The monster has a 10,000mAh battery which gives support to 80W of wired fast charging. The battery life is expected to be outstanding, with this combination helping users to comfortably power through several days on a single charge and decreasing charging length. OPPO has also hinted that it would be a genuine go-anywhere telephone so it’s reported that it will have a rugged build for those who need better durability as well as extended battery life.
Expected Competition
After release, the OPPO A7 Pro Max will face competition from a number of battery-run mid-range phones like those from:
- Redmi Note 17 (allegedly 8,000mAh)
- vivo S2
- iQOO Z11 series
- HONOR X80 series
- Realme Neo series
For the battery, the OPPO A7 Pro Max may be the winner as it features one of the largest smartphones batteries in its class and a relatively slim design. Several leaked specs might make it a good option for those who prefer long battery life, a best OLED screen and impressive cameras, all without having to enter the upper-level flagship market segment.
OPPO has also teased its smartphone design and capacity, but the official introductory dates and the pricing has yet to be revealed. Further details will be announced in the next few weeks.
