New Delhi: Oppo has recently launched its latest Oppo A6 in India, and it comes with a 6.75-inch LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1125nits, which helps to maintain readability in intense outdoor light. The panel’s refresh rate may vary depending on the application and the usage conditions. It comes with a 50MP primary camera sensor with AI features, with support for underwater photography mode, enabling users to capture images underwater using volume keys. In addition, comes with the AI Night Mode, Portrait Mode, AI Portrait Retouching, AI Perfect Shot, AI Recompose, and AI Eraser 2.0 for removing unwanted objects from the images.
Oppo claims that the A6 has passed its 60-month fluency testing for long-term smoothness. The company stated that the hardware and software optimisation through the Trinity Engine helps the device remain responsive for years. Oppo has equipped the A6 with dual stereo speakers and Ultra Volume Mode, which can boost sound output up to 300%. Outdoor Mode 2.0 will help improve screen visibility, while GloveTouch enhances touchscreen responsiveness even when wearing gloves. The Oppo A6 supports theft protection features that can lock the device automatically if suspicious movement or forced shutdown attempts are detected. Users can also remotely block the phone through customer support, depending on the region.
Powering the device with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G mobile platform. Oppo stated that the chip delivers responsive performance for everyday tasks. RAM Expansion support converts idle storage into virtual RAM to improve application retention and multitasking. To sustain gaming and prolonged usage, Oppo has added a large 3900mm vapor chamber. The SuperCool VC System is designed to help the phone maintain stable temperatures and performance even during high-intensity tasks. Oppo A6 comes with the IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings.
The Oppo A6 features a massive 7000mAh battery, one of the largest in its segment. The company claims it can comfortably last through a full day of streaming, gaming, navigation, calls, and heavy multitasking on a single charge. The device supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging. Oppo stated that the phone can go from 1% to 36% in just 30 minutes. The brand also claims up to 41 days of standby time, and it will offer wired reverse charging at 5V/1A to top up other devices.
