OnePlus Turbo 6 series breaks cover with huge battery upgrade

New Delhi: OnePlus has finally unveiled its Turbo 6 series, comprising the OnePlus Turbo 6 and OnePlus Turbo 6V, in China on January 8, 2026. Both smartphones are powered by 9,000mAh batteries and Qualcomm Snapdragon chips. The OnePlus Turbo 6 series is likely to be exclusive to the Chinese market. The OnePlus Turbo 6 features a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz and peak brightness of 1800nits. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and is offered with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 onboard storage. The device will run on Android 16 with ColorOS 16.

It includes a dual rear camera setup, which consists of a 50MP primary camera sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor, along with the 16MP front-facing camera sensor. The device is powered by a 9,000mAh battery and supports 80W SuperVOOC Flash Charge, along with 27W wired reverse charging. It carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69 K ratings for four levels of water and dust resistance.

OnePlus Turbo 6V also features a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with 1800 nits of peak brightness, but it only supports up to 144Hz of refresh rate. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and is available in configurations with the 8GB LPDDR4X RAM along with the 512GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It will also run on Android 16, based on ColorOS 16. It comes with the 50MP primary camera sensor, 2MP secondary camera sensor, and a 16MP front-facing camera sensor. The Turbo 6V is also equipped with a 9,000mAh battery supporting 80W SuperVOOC Flash Charge and a 27W wired reverse charging, and it carries a similar IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K rating.
