New Delhi: OnePlus has officially announced that its upcoming OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra will not only be a gaming device, but it can also be transformed into a gaming handheld.
This device is going to be unveiled on April 28, and the company has recently teased and shared several images of how the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra will work with its attachable gamepad.
This device slots directly into the latest controller, effectively turning it into a handheld console-style device instead of relying on touchscreen inputs. OnePlus is also pitching an ergonomic grip that mimics the feel of the traditional handheld console.
This controller also includes customizable button mapping and four physical buttons, enabling players to move beyond the basic two-thumb controls into more complex and multi-finger inputs.
In terms of performance, OnePlus is now making big promises. OnePlus’s controller uses the micro-mechanical switches with a 1000Hz polling rate and a 1.8ms response time. The company has also shared images showing a detachable magnetic cooling fan specially designed to help with heat dissipation during extended gaming sessions.
There is also a built-in gaming antenna for stronger signal reception and a bottom-placed USB-C port so users can keep charging while playing games.
