New Delhi: On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, OnePlus officially introduced its AI Plus, also known as OnePlus AI, following Samsung’s introduction of Galaxy AI and Motorola’s subsequent introduction of Moto AI. This OnePlus AI strategy will be utilized in their future products, such as the Tab, Phone, and select watches.
The OnePlus AI will be rolled out in the future compact flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13s, which is set to launch on June 5. It will also feature a dedicated hardware button for customisation, and this hardware button will be known as the Plus Key, allowing direct access to OnePlus AI.
However, OnePlus will not add any additional key to access the OnePlus AI; instead, they will replace the Alert Slider with the Plus Key to access the OnePlus AI. The Plus key will be a customisable function that can be used to switch sound profiles, record video, launch cameras, and initiate translation. This Plus key will also activate the AI Plus Mind, a new feature that allows you to quickly save the catalogue and recall key information found on screen. Users can save schedules, event details, reservations, and much more by simply pressing the Plus Key.
Soon, Gemini will also work as OxygenOS apps, like OnePlus Notes, Clock, and other Google apps. With Gemini Live, users can have real-time conversations about what is being captured by their cameras and what is on their phone screen. With these features and customisation, OnePlus will not make any compromise in the privacy, it will maintain full privacy of the user.
