New Delhi: Recently, in some reports, it has been suggested that OnePlus has officially started its latest development of its upcoming OnePlus 16T, even though the standard OnePlus 16 has not yet been officially announced or rumored. This actually indicates that OnePlus is continuing its T-series strategy and planning its 2027 smartphone lineup well in advance. However, we have never seen a T-series device of any brand in the Indian market. But in some reports, it has been suggested that this time the Indian market will have a T-series device.
This device is expected to follow the OnePlus 15T, which was unveiled as the compact flagship focused on high performance and battery life. While other specific specs remain unknown, industry sources indicate OnePlus will continue to emphasize flagship-level performance, large batteries, and improved display technology with the compact or relatively compact flagship design.
It might have Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon flagship processor. In terms of battery capacity, it potentially exceeds 7,500mAh if the company continues to extend its Glacier Battery technology; however, it offers faster charging and enhanced gaming performance.
Camera upgrades focused on competing with the premium Android flagships. It also indicates that OnePlus sees strong demand for the T-series lineup, which traditionally provides flagship performance with several refinements over the standard model.
