OnePlus 16 colors and design revealed ahead of launch

New Delhi: Finally, OnePlus has revealed the complete appearance of its future giant phone, known as the OnePlus 16, but unfortunately, there is no word yet on its release date.

The new phone will look a lot like last year’s OnePlus 15. There hasn’t been much change on the outside. But OnePlus is offering some new options for the consumption of colors. There’s Dark Forest, the solid black, Mars Masterpiece (light orange) and Tomorrow Starlight. The orange and grey options also are treated to a unique pattern on the back of the phone, adding some luster and flair in comparison to solid colors.

If you’re curious about storage, OnePlus has also revealed what kind of storage options will be available on the China market. The consumers there can select from a series of goods in their possession, including 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 512GB storage, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage and the highest model 16GB RAM with a full 1TB of storage. Although the phones have not been officially released yet, anyone in China can book the handset on the OnePlus official website.

Meanwhile, OnePlus has not announced everything either, when it comes to the contents of the phone. A 165Hz refresh rate is coming, though, and the company has said that it’ll be available on the entire system, not just in certain apps or games. This should make the daily scroll and swipes a little easier.

There’s also speculation regarding the other details. According to the leaks, OnePlus 16 will be available with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip, a huge 9,000mAh battery for long battery performance, and a main camera with 200 megapixels. Expect this display to be a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, as in the latest flagships.

Now that the design and colours are set, fans are hoping for the launch date soon from OnePlus.
