New Delhi: Nothing has finally and officially unveiled its most-awaited Headphone (a). By launching this headphone, Nothing has expanded the company’s over-ear lineup with a more expressive design. Nothing also claims that these headphones can deliver up to 135 hours of listening time with ANC turned off.
It has also been reported that a quick 5-minute charge delivers up to 5 hours of playback. It also carries an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance. It comes in four colour options: Black, White, Pink, and Yellow.
Nothing has continued its tactile control system with an integrated Roller, Paddle, and Button built directly into the ear cups. These physical controls enable the users to adjust volume, change tracks, and switch ANC modes without relying on touch gestures.
Nothing’s Channel Hop feature also reappears, enabling users to cycle between applications or audio functions using the hardware button. The same Button can also function as a remote camera shutter. These features are likely to be reserved for those with Nothing Phone 3 or the latest models.
It supports high-quality wireless audio transmission with the LDAC codec. This delivers scalable bitrates up to 900 kbps and bit depth and sample rate of up to 24-bit/96kHz. The headphones house 40mm titanium-coated drivers that are especially designed to maintain structural rigidity under load.
Nothing stated that a hybrid feedforward and feedback microphone system with AI processing works to adjust noise cancellation in real-time based on fit and environmental noise.
A three-microphone system also uses an AI-based noise-reduction algorithm trained on millions of noise scenarios, aiming to isolate the user’s voice in busy environments. Nothing X application can unlock an 8-band EQ with advanced manual tuning. Users also receive a real-time bass enhancement algorithm that analyzes low-frequency content and dynamically adjusts the output. Nothing Headphone (a) is priced at Rs 16,908.
