Motorola Edge 70 Pro goes official with 144Hz display, Sony camera

New Delhi: Motorola has finally unveiled its most-awaited Edge 70 Pro in India. This latest Edge 70 Pro carries an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. It features a 6.8-inch 1.5K quad-curved AMOLED display with up to 144Hz of refresh rate for smooth scrolling.

It comes with 5,200 nits of peak brightness and HDR10+ support for content streaming. This device is being protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 7i alongside stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Edge 70 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, which is coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256 UFS 4.1 onboard storage. Out of the box, it runs on Helo UI based on Android 16.

However, Motorola claims to offer 3 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates. It houses a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is supported by 90W charging.

This device comes with a triple rear camera sensor, which consists of a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 sensor with OIS support: a 50MP ultra-wide camera sensor and a 50MP macro camera sensor.

On the front, it carries a 50MP front-facing camera sensor for selfies and video calling. In terms of pricing, the Edge 70 Pro is priced at Rs 38,999 for the base model.
