New Delhi: Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, recently shared and highlighted three of the latest Copilot AI features, and he also stated that it has become an integral part of both his work routine and personal life. In a short video, which is available on the X platform, Satya Nadella has described these updates as breakthroughs that redefine how users interact with computers, even likening one to the leap brought by the touchscreens. Now let’s look at those three AI features Satya Nadella uses in their routine work:
Feature 1: Voice-first Copilot on Windows
The latest voice-activated Copilot on Windows is the most exciting way to interact with computers since touch. He compared it to having a new mouse, except for its voice, allowing him to summon Copilot instantly while writing emails and reviewing documents. The assistant can then answer questions or pull up information on demand. It retrieves what users need instantly, and it’s just amazing, Nadella stated.
Feature 2: Mico, the Socratic tutor
This feature highlighted the Mico, a newly introduced Copilot persona designed to make AI interaction more conversational and educational. He also described Mico as a Socratic tutor that doesn’t just respond with the facts but actively helps the users learn. Nadella shared that he recently explored the Egyptian mythology with his daughter through Mico, noting how the AI taught us both what they wanted to know, not just gave them information, but it has offered full interactive details to them.
Feature 3: Your AI planner and mental load manager
This third feature Satya Nadella mentioned ties to Copilot’s growing role as a personal and professional organiser. While he didn’t name it as a specific tool, he credited Copilot with helping him plan, learn, coordinate, and stay sane amid a busy schedule.
These are three special tools that have become a daily routine for Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. He also said that Microsoft is aiming to build more advanced features for users, and it is now building faster, and it will also encourage users to test these three features in their daily work life.
