New Delhi: If we discuss about the previous news which are came from the Qualcomm that, they are to unveil their latest two next-generation flagship processor, which are: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, which are expected to debut in next month, but there is no confirmed launching date of this two-flagship processor. But, now the news is coming from some sources that MediaTek might also debut their latest upcoming flagship processor, which will be named MediaTek Dimensity 9500, which is directly to compete with the latest Qualcomm processors.
From some sources, it has come to light that the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor will boast significant improvements, and by some rumours, it is claimed that it will offer 40% faster Ray Tracing Performance in the smartphone. In further reports, it is claimed that users are able to enjoy mobile games with ray tracing at over 100 FPS, while there are a handful of games that support ray tracing on Android.
This MediaTek Dimensity 9500 is likely to use the Immortalis Dragon GPU architecture by ARM. By focusing on peak sustained performance, MediaTek could set a new benchmark for mobile gamers. With great power comes great power consumption, but not this time. MediaTek seems to have tuned the efficiency well. Dimensity 9500, just like its predecessor, will rely on all the big core design architecture; it is likely to consist of one Cortex X930 Ultra chip, three Cortex X9 chips, and four Cortex A7xx cores.
The clock speed of 3.23GHz certainly won’t get any awards since the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is likely to touch the 5GHz mark, which will be the first MediaTek chipset based on TSMC’s advanced 3nm N3P node. There is another upgrade that would be the latest NPU with 100 TOPS of power, capable of offering better image processing, voice ask, and running large LLM models on the device.
