New Delhi: MediaTek has officially unveiled its latest Dimensity 7450 series processor, which consists of MediaTek Dimensity 7450 and MediaTek Dimensity 7450X processors.
However, these latest processor don’t comes with a CPU upgrade as both the processors employ the same octa-core setup, which consists of 4x Cortex-A78 cores ticking at 2.6 GHz and 4x Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0 GHz. This GPU also still comes with Mali-G615 MC2.
MediaTek also highlights an improvement in the AI power. It also went up by 7%, and MediaTek stated it’s particularly highlightable in photography-related AI tasks. In terms of connectivity, it comes with a main upgrade in the two latest SoCs.
It now makes use of the latest 5G R17 modem, replacing the R16 one of its predecessors. This latest modem claims better power efficiency, with improved performance by utilizing 3CC carrier aggregation, and also a performance by 20% when in transit.
This latest processor is supposed to recover the network connection faster when there is a dead zone. This latest processor is going to hit markets in the next few months in any upcoming device.
