New Delhi: Huawei has recently introduced its latest flagship device, and they have named this flagship smartphone the Mate XTs. There is one thing that many users don’t know: this Huawei-introduced smartphone is not just a smartphone, it is their trifold foldable smartphone. And they have priced this tri-fold smartphone at 17,XXX, which was discussed at the last. Huawei’s Consumer Business Group CEO Richard Yu stated that the phone is powered by the Kirin 9020 chip and runs on HarmonyOS, and this chipset makes its comeback once again in any smartphone.
It is going to deliver a 36% overall performance boost through the software and hardware cloud synergy. This launch marks the return of the Kirin Chip to Huawei’s product line after a long four-year wait. This Mate XTs supports running PC-grade office software directly on the device for the first time in the technology industry. It also features stylus support for real-time annotations, split-screen note-taking, and screen-casting with a laser pointer. Additionally, the phone is the first to integrate PC-grade financial software, enabling users to monitor markets in real time, conduct in-depth data analysis, and make informed investment decisions.
Huawei has also highlighted another breakthrough of the Mate XTs. It is the first smartphone to offer information from the China Earthquake Administration, with access to 15,000 seismic monitoring stations nationwide, which enhances earthquake warning capabilities by 2.5 times, enabling second-level alerts across the key regions. Yu also stated that the number of devices running on the HarmonyOS 5.0 has surpassed 14 million. Now the part of pricing as discussed above will be priced at 17,999 yuan, about $2,520, and if we convert it into the Indian currency, it will be around Rs 2,25,000 for the base model of this tri-fold foldable smartphone.
