New Delhi: LG has recently unveiled its latest wireless TV at CES 2026, the latest W6 Wallpaper TV, which is only 9mm thick and boasts significant gains in both colours and brightness. The latest W6 Wallpaper comes with the 4K TV features with the latest OLED design, which the company stated is 3.9times brighter than conventional OLEDs and incorporates its Brightness Booster Ultra and Hyper Radiant Colour Technology.
LG has seemingly taken strides to reduce glare in 2026 and states that the reflection-free W6 has the lowest reflectance among LG TVs, and this should improve watchability in lit rooms. The typical trade-off for similar systems is that black levels can be reduced when the lights are on, though at the show, LG showed in some sources a demo that purported to show less reduction in the dark areas.
The TV is available in two sizes: 77-inch and 83-inch, and features a wireless connection box that houses the inputs and can be placed up to 30 feet away. The TV still needs to be plugged into the power socket. As with the previous high-end models, the TV comes with a comprehensive gaming suite, including a 4K 165Hz refresh rate, with G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium, and a claimed 0.1ms pixel response time. The W6 also has wallpapers and AI features for people who want to tinker.
The Wallpaper doesn’t roll into the tube is a revival of the Wallpaper TV, which was discontinued in 2020. The company stated it has improved the wall mount, which lets the TV sit flush against the wall from edge to edge. The previous M series has been virtually identical to the G series, just with the addition of the wireless box.
