New Delhi: Lenskart has officially introduced its most-anticipated smart glasses to rival Meta’s smart glasses. It’s the B by Lenskart smart glasses in India, and it is priced at Rs 22,000 for early buyers. Made in India AR-style glasses focused on regular users, not just demos or developer kits.
Users will get both clear lens and sunglasses versions, with slightly thicker arms to house the internals. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 processor with 32GB onboard storage.
It connects over Bluetooth 5.3 and works with Android 12 and iOS 18. These glasses are not being pitched as a content-first device. There is a 12MP camera, and it can shoot up to 1080p video, but the bigger aim is on AI features via Google’s Gemini assistant.
It also supports over 40 languages, which generally feels intentional for India. Battery life is about four hours on the glasses, with the case that expands it to roughly 48 hours.
Early access registrations are now live on Lenskart’s official website. Smart glasses will be available in Black and Silver, with wider rollout expected after this initial phase. But there is no exact timeline yet for when this becomes widely available.
