Lenovo goes all-in on futuristic tech with bold new concepts

New Delhi: At MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2026, Lenovo has arrived with its latest range of products, in which they have debuted with a concept device and with some of the amazing laptops that are going to make a bang in the laptop market. So, now let’s see that range of products.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra

IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra, which is available in two variants: 14-inch and 11-inch. It is a thin and light laptop powered by Intel Core Ultra processors and housed in a precision-milled aluminium chassis. It is also available with either a WUXGA OLED or a WQXGA 120Hz IPS LCD display in a 16:10 aspect ratio. This laptop also includes a 65Wh battery, and it supports Rapid Charge Boost, promising to deliver up to two hours of use with a 15-minute charge. It also comes with an FHD IR camera for facial recognition login and a physical privacy shutter.

Lenovo Yoga Creative Keyboard AngryMiao Edition

Yoga Creative Keyboard AngryMiao Edition is a mechanical keyboard developed in collaboration with the peripheral maker AngryMiao. It is built with a 2.6kg aluminium chassis, the keyboard is stated to be designed for stability and reduced vibration, and includes pre-key RGB lighting beneath a translucent top cover.

It also features an oversized control knob intended for scrubbing via audio and video timelines, providing tactile control for editing tasks. The keyboard integrates with select Yoga devices via a dedicated Yoga key that switches audio output between compatible laptops and monitors or synchronizes sound across connected speakers.

Lenovo L16 Mobile Monitor

It is a portable 16-inch display with a 16:10 FHD IPS panel and up to 300nits peak brightness. This device has been designed for travel and hybrid work setups. It also features a slim, lightweight build, and it supports adjustable viewing angles from 0 to 90 degrees. Monitor includes dual USB-C ports with up to 65W power passthrough, enabling users to charge a connected laptop directly via the display while keeping other ports free for additional peripherals.

Lenovo AI Work Companion concept

Desk clock-style device especially designed to integrate AI-based task management with practical desktop functionality. The device syncs schedules and tasks from the connected devices to generate a daily plan, suggests breaks, tracks screen time, and provides a weekly activity summary. It also includes a built-in port hub with high-speed charging support to reduce desk clutter, alongside programmable buttons for customized controls.

Lenovo Legion Tab

It is a gaming-focused tablet that comes with an 8.8-inch 3k display with a 165Hz refresh rate and up to 600nits of brightness. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with up to 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB onboard storage, and houses a 9,000mAh battery.  It also includes Lenovo AI Engine+ features for enhanced in-game audio, AI-based noise cancellation, and adaptive touch sensitivity. It offers dual USB-C ports for charging and accessories.

Lenovo Legion 7a

Legion 7a comes in two versions: 15-inch and 11-inch. Its first gaming laptop is built on unified memory architecture. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ Series processor with integrated Radeon graphics. The device is especially designed to deliver gaming and multitasking performance without a discrete GPU. It includes a 15.3-inch PureSight OLED display and supports Lenovo AI Engine+ for real-time optimization of performance, thermals, and power efficiency.

Lenovo ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept

The business-focused prototype is built around a modular design approach. The system features with a 14-inch ultra-thin base unit that will supports an latest innovation of interchangeable displays, detachable input modules, and modular I/O components.

The secondary display can be attached in different orientations or replace the keyboard, extending the workspace to around 19 inches while retaining portability. The concept is intended to demonstrate how modular hardware could extend device lifecycles and adapt to changing AI-driven workflows.

Lenovo AI Workmate concept

The Lenovo AI Workmate concept proof-of-concept device focuses on allowing more human-centric AI workflows. It is designed as an always-on desk companion, a system that supports writing, voice, gesture, and spatial interactions with on-device AI processing for local input handling.

To explore more intuitive ways for professionals to engage with intelligent systems in daily work environments. To assist with all of the practical business tasks such as document scanning and summarization, note organization, and presentation creation. It also demonstrates spatial computing capabilities by projecting content onto nearby surfaces like desks or walls, reflecting Lenovo’s ongoing experimentation with physical and spatial AI experience in professional settings.
