New Delhi: So finally, Lava has unveiled its latest Blaze Duo 3 device, featuring a dual-screen design. The device features a secondary AMOLED display on the rear, along with the full-size AMOLED panel on the front. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor and comes with a standard 5000mAh battery pack. Its pricing starts from Rs 16,999 for the 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage variant. The main highlight of the Blaze Duo 3 is its dual-screen setup. On the front, the device has a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
On the back, the device has a 1.6-inch AMOLED display. This secondary screen can be used to check notifications, control music, preview selfies using the rear camera, and show animations without turning on the main screen. The Blaze Duo 3 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor and comes with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM, along with an additional 6GB virtual RAM support. Storage is 128GB using UFS 3.1 onboard storage—the Blaze Duo 3 houses a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W wired fast charging. Lava has stated that the device will receive one Android OS update and two years of security updates. It ships with Android 15 out of the box.
For the camera, the device has a 50MP rear camera with the Sony IMX752 sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP primary camera sensor for selfies and video calling. The rear display can also act as the preview screen when taking selfies using the primary camera. But after all of these there is one issues that I have noticed in this device that, in this price range Lava is just offering one Android OS update, means if we look at the other smartphone brand who launch their devices in this price range they are atleast offering 4 year or minimum 3 years of OS updates, so that will be the minus point that Lava Blaze Duo 3 have.
