New Delhi: JBL has officially introduced its latest portable Bluetooth speaker in India, which is called JBL Grip. This speaker comes with the JBL Pro Sound, AI Sound Boost technology, and Auracast support for the stereo and multi-speaker pairing.
This device also offers up to 12 hours of battery life, with an additional two hours via Playtime Boost. JBL Grip also comes with the IP68-rated water and dust resistance, alongside support for the JBL Portable applications.
It is priced at Rs 11,999, and it is available in six colour options: Black, White, Purple, Blue, and Camo. JBL Grip is especially designed as a compact and portable speaker inspired by the proportions of a seltzer can. This device also includes a rope loop on the back panel that enables users to carry or hang the speaker.
JBL logo has been positioned vertically to match that upright design. JBL Grip has also includes the ambient lighting on the back panel. The users can customize the lighting colour and intensity via the JBL Portable applications.
Speakers deliver 16W output and support JBL Pro Sound. It also includes AI Sound Boost, technology that the JBL stated analyzes music in real-time to optimize the speaker driver and prevent distortion. JBL Grip also supports the Auracast, which enables users to connect multiple compatible speakers or pair two speakers for stereo output.
JBL claims that it offer up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge. With Playtime Boost, users can get an additional two hours of listening time. It features an adjustment to the speaker’s performance to offer louder and crisper sound while expanding battery life.
