New Delhi: As we all know, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 series has been launched in India. But many users need an honest review of this device: is the OnePlus Nord CE 6 actually the best phone under Rs 30,000 right now, or should they move on from this device? In this article, we will answer a question asked by many users. So we are going to review the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and how it performs in several situations. So, let’s take a look at the review.
Display
It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a high 144Hz refresh rate. Now, after looking at the refresh rate, many users will think that everywhere this smartphone is, it’s going to perform at 144Hz. For them, we want to say no: this device is not going to perform at 144Hz everywhere; somewhere, it will run at a 120Hz refresh rate.
It delivers 3200 nits of brightness, and for the brightness test, we took it outdoors, where it was clearly visible. It also comes with a Touch Reflex Chip built-in for touch response up to 3200Hz.
And now, regarding the streaming experience, it was really impressive; users can stream their movies and shows in HDR with vibrant colors. Thanks to OnePlus, this device offers 1.07 billion colors.
Performance
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Its performance impressed me because in BGMI we were getting 120 FPS, so the gaming was pretty smooth, as we expected from this device. However, after long gaming sessions, it can drop the FPS, but casual gamers will get a proper gaming experience on this device.
It is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It also comes with a OnePlus RAM Vitalization. Out of the box, it runs on OxygenOS 16, based on Android 16, and if we give the honest software experience, then after OnePlus started offering OxygenOS to its device after than software experience improves much better, like the animations and the smoothness that every user wants in their device; OnePlus is offering that only to their users.
Camera
There is a dual-rear camera setup, including a 50MP OmniVision OV50D40 CMOS main camera sensor with OIS for stable video recording. It is coupled with a 2MP GalaxyCore GC02M1B CMOS sensor. On the front, it has a 32MP Galaxycore GC32E2 primary camera sensor for selfies and video calling. And for video recording, this device can capture up to 4K/30FPS and 1080p/60FPS.
When it comes to cameras, OnePlus has really improved its sensors; image quality is amazing. The portrait captures great, and the colors are vibrant; it captures the shadow details somewhere accurately. In terms of video recording, it offers good details. So, in terms of cameras, OnePlus has done a great job.
Battery
It houses a massive 8,000 mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC wired fast charging support, coupled with 27W reverse wired charging. However, it is not a gaming device, but it also supports bypass charging. Now, many users think that if OnePlus offers 80W charging, our device will always charge at 80W, but that is not the case; sometimes it charges at 50W or 40W.
So don’t think that this device will always charge at 80W. However, battery life is truly impressive; at normal usage, users get a full day of use.
Final Thought
After using this device, I found that the OnePlus Nord CE 6 is a good choice for users looking for a balanced phone. And the main question that many users are asking is: is OnePlus Nord CE 6 the best phone under Rs 30,000 right now, or should they move on to another device?
So, in some ways, we can say yes, and in other ways, we can say no. The reason is that the OnePlus Nord CE 6 does not come with an ultra-wide camera sensor; it has a 2MP camera sensor, which makes no sense. For us, this is the only reason to say no. Still, if users can compromise on cameras, then the OnePlus Nord CE 6 is the best phone under Rs 30,000 right now.
