New Delhi: In recent months, there has been much news and speculation about the latest design of the iPhone 17 lineup, likely to feature upgraded hardware, refined software, and possibly a few unexpected additions as well. Apple is expected to feature four of its latest smartphones in its 2025 iPhone series: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the new iPhone 17 Air, which is reportedly the first-ever Air model phone that Apple will introduce globally.
Launch Date:
Apple traditionally unveils its latest iPhones in the first half of September. According to some sources, the 2025 launch is expected to take place in either September or the months that follow. Pre-orders are usually opened within a few days after the announcement by Apple itself. However, they can get a pro-a-per-announcement that there is no confirmation about the launch.
Design:
According to some sources, the device is expected to feature a 6.6-inch OLED display with a 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate, promising smooth handling of tasks and improved touch sensitivity. Combined with the sleek, ultra-thin form factor with advanced screen technology, the Air model is shaping up to be Apple’s most elegant and premium-looking iPhone yet.
Cameras:
It offers a single rear camera setup featuring a 48MP Fusion primary camera, which, due to its slim design, might not leave room for an additional telephoto lens. Meanwhile, the regular iPhone 17 is expected to receive an update to the front-facing camera, increasing to 24MP for clearer, more detailed selfies. The setup is similar to the iPhone 16, pairing a 48MP primary camera sensor with a 12MP ultra-wide lens.
Pricing:
Apple’s pricing strategy over recent years Suggests That It is expected to keep the base price of its entry-level iPhone unchanged in 2025. According to some sources, the iPhone 17 might be unveiled at a launch price of Rs 89,900, while the latest iPhone 17 Air could carry a price tag of Rs 99,900. The higher-end Pro and Pro Max models are speculated to be priced at Rs 1,39,900 and Rs 1,64,900, respectively. In the United States, the iPhone is expected to launch with a starting price of approximately $899. In the UAE, the handset is expected to be introduced at around AED 3,799, based on early pricing forecasts.
