Intel PresentMon update boosts frame analysis for gamers

New Delhi: Does anyone know about the PresentMon? Actually, in the real sense, we are also not familiar with these words or things, but it is the cornerstone of modern PC benchmarking. CapframeX is based on the PresentMon, Nvidia’s FrameView application, which is based on the PresentMon. Even AMD’s Open Capture Analysis Tool, which is also based on PresentMon. PresentMon is an Intel tool, and Intel has upgraded it for the age of Frame Generation.

Intel has upgraded their PresentMon with the Frame Type Differentiation, which enables the PresentMon to distinguish between the real and AI-generated frames. Users can literally see this FPS application metric alongside FPS-Presents. This means that PresentMon can measure a game’s base framerate alongside its framerate when the Frame Generation is enabled. Since the PresentMon is the basis of the most modern PC benchmarking tools, it is likely that Intel’s latest changes to the PresentMon will change how the PC benchmarking data is measured and displayed. This newest version of the PresentMon can also present the percentile data for all metrics and the latest animation error data.

However, this latest version of the PresentMon, Intel also unveiled XeSS 3, and with the XeSS 3, Intel has added Multi-Frame Generation to its XeSS technology suite. This provides gamers with access to X2, X3, and X4 multipliers when utilising XeSS Frame Generation.
