New Delhi: Insta360 has recently unveiled its latest handheld gimbal camera segment with the unveiling of its latest flagship, the Lune Ultra. It is co-engineered with Leica; the vlogging-aimed camera features a dual-camera setup. It features a primary 1-inch sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 20mm equivalent focal length. It also has a telephoto camera that provides an f/2.0 aperture and a 60mm equivalent focal length with up to 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and 12x digital zoom.
Luna Ultra’s major highlighted features are its detachable 2-inch touchscreen display. This screen can be used as a remote monitor and controller, enabling users to frame shots and record from up to 20 meters away in HD resolution. It can also be switched between portrait and landscape orientations.
This pocket gimbal camera gets a 1,550mAh battery, which Insta360 claims can offer up to four hours of use, and it also supports fast charging. Luna Ultra also features a 3-axis mechanical stabilization with features such as Deep Track 5.0 for subject tracking.
Luna Ultra can record videos in up to 8K resolution at 30fps, capture 4K footage at up to 120fps, and shoot slow-motion videos up to 240fps in 4K. It can also capture photos at up to 37MP in UltraPhoto mode and up to 200MP resolution panorama shots.
It supports 10-bit video recording and offers Dolby Vision and I-Log. It features 47GB of built-in storage and supports a microSD card slot with up to 1TB. In terms of audio, it can handle a four-microphone array. Insta360 Lune Ultra is priced at $769.99 (roughly Rs 73,653).
