New Delhi: Nothing has recently confirmed that its latest Nothing Phone 3a Lite, which was globally launched on October 29, will debut in India on November 27. The company has not yet revealed whether the Indian variant will boast the exact specifications as the global one. However, according to some sources, it is evident that the Indian variant will feature the same Glyph Light interface as seen in the worldwide market. The company has stated that the launch will bring the distinctive Nothing experience to more users with unmistakable style and innovation at an accessible price.
There are high chances that the specifications of the global and Indian variants will largely remain the same, with minor changes if required. The Nothing Phone 3a Lite, which was introduced last month, will feature a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak HDR brightness of 3000nits. It will run on MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The rear camera will include a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera sensor, and a 2MP macro unit, while the front will carry a 16MP selfie shooter. This device will be backed with a 5000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging and come with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
The major design shift is the addition of the single Glyph Light on the back, a simplified take on Nothing’s Glyph Interface. Instead of the multiple LED strips found on the other Phone 3a models, this version uses one LED element that will still support key functions such as the silent alerts, essential notifications, camera countdown timers and customizable light sequences for incoming calls and alerts. The phone will run on NothingOS 3.5, based on Android 15, and add a set of AI-driven tools. Essential Space, accessible through the crucial key, acts as a central hub for managing saved media and notes, allowing natural language search and quick actions like creating calendar entries from stored content. Other software additions include the Smart Drawer for the automatic application organisation, Private Space for personal data, and App Locker for securing individual applications.
