New Delhi: Taiwan consumer electronics maker High Tech Computer, which is actually known as HTC, and many other companies also use this smartphone in India, and this time, they have become a latest entrant into the artificial intelligence-powered smart glasses market with the launch of their latest Vive Eagle AI Smart Glasses. According to some sources, HTC is setting up to make a direct competition with companies like Meta, Google, Samsung, and it might also be with Apple, which are already working on smart glasses.
There is a major point to notice, that Meta Smart Glasses are available for purchase in several countries, including the USA and India. Besides this, HTC’s Vive Eagle smart glasses are currently only available for purchase in Taiwan; however, it is uncertain whether they will be launched globally or not.

Now if we discuss about the HTC Vive Eagle’s AI Smart Glasses it comes with pretty amazing features like the AI-driven image translation, allowing users to point at the text and have it translated into 13 languages through the built-in Vive AI voice assistant, these glasses also supports functioning like setting voice reminders, noting down ideas, and even getting restaurant suggestions, echoing some of the features found in rival devices also. The weight of these AI smart glasses is 49 grams, they are nearly as light as the Meta’ Ray-Ban smart glasses.
It is priced at roughly $520. This Vive Eagle comes fitted with Zeiss sun lenses and is offered in red, brown, grey, or black frame options. HTC has not confirmed this AI smart glasses yet, but globally, it might launch in any other regions. In some of the sources it is stated that Xiaomi has also entered this market with the launch of its AI Glasses in China, which is powered up by the Snapdragon AR1 chip with the 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, this glasses feature a 12MP camera capable of 2k video recording, stereo speakers, five microphones, and a 263mAh battery offering up to 8.6 hours of use. Weighing 40g and IP54 rated, they also support Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, Android, and iOS devices. Core functions include the XiaoAI assistant for real-time translation in 10 languages, contextual object interaction, and QR code-based payments.
