Pune: SMILe Digital & AI Lab, the tech division of Shree Maruti Integrated Logistics (SMILe), successfully organized its flagship event, INNOVATIONHACK: Revolutionizing Logistics Through Data. This hackathon aimed to reshape the logistics industry by harnessing the power of data science and analytics. Over a span of 60 days, participants worked tirelessly on innovative solutions to solve complex logistics challenges, focusing on improving efficiency and smarter decision-making.
The event, which opened for registrations in June 2024, received an overwhelming response with over 2,200 participants from across India. During the idea submission phase (July 5 to August 4, 2024), participants presented numerous creative and forward-thinking solutions, showcasing the immense talent and ingenuity within the country’s tech community.
The hackathon’s goal was to foster a culture of innovation and build a strong pipeline of skilled talent, helping SMILe stay ahead in the logistics industry.
Sharing his thoughts on the event, Sarang Bondre, Head of Engineering at SMILe Digital & AI Lab, said, “INNOVATIONHACK is more than just a hackathon. It’s a platform for ideas that challenge conventional logistics methods and offer data-driven solutions to create smarter and more adaptive supply chains.”

The final stage of the event was held at the World Trade Centre in Kharadi, Pune, where the top three teams were recognized for their outstanding contributions.
