Honor X80 Pro Max challenges power banks with huge 11,000mAh battery

New Delhi: After many rumors and leaks, Honor has finally unveiled its latest Honor X80 Pro Max, and after launching Honor X80 Pro Max, it has officially broken many records. Honor X80 Pro Max is the industry’s first-ever device that houses a massive 11,000mAh battery pack, and along with this, it has the industry’s largest 10,000nits of peak brightness.

However, many analysts noted that this figure applies only to tiny HDR highlights, while the real-world outdoor brightness is closer to around 2,000nits.

By making it the largest battery ever fitted in an Honor device and one of the largest in the mainstream phone overall. Honor also claims that it can achieve multi-day endurance while keeping the device relatively slim. It comes with 90W wired fast charging support and 27W wired reverse charging. It features a 6.8-inch OLED 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, with a 3840Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort, and extremely thin 1.3mm bezels.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor instead of the flagship Snapdragon 8-series chipset. This indicates the device is aiming for battery life and mainstream buyers instead of pure flagship performance. In terms of the camera, it includes a 50MP Matrix AI Vision main camera sensor with LED flash. It carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
