New Delhi: Honor has officially announced its refreshed global brand identity ahead of the debut of its most highly anticipated Robot Phone. Honor has adopted the new circular logo alongside the tagline “Dare to Be”, by representing its ambition to move beyond traditional phones and become a broader AI ecosystem company. According to the company, the redesigned logo symbolizes breaking the cycle of perfection and continuously innovating in the AI era.
Honor confirmed that the upcoming Robot Phone will be unveiled in China on August 12, 2026. This device was first previewed at MWC 2026, and it is positioned as the latest smartphone category centered around AI-assisted interaction and cinematic imaging. Honor also hosted an Imaging Technology Launch event in Hengdian, China, where it unveiled some technologies that will be introduced on the Robot Phone. Honor introduced its latest AiMAGE imaging engine, which combines dedicated AI image processing, device-level computing, cloud-powered image enhancement, and transformer-based AI ISP (Image Signal Processor).
Honor stated that this latest architecture improves image quality by combining the advanced optics with the AI processing instead of relying only on the larger sensors. One of the biggest announcements from Honor is that they are collaborating with ARRI, the renowned cinema camera manufacturer.
Robot Phone will become the first phone to support some professional filmmaking features, including ARRI Log-C3 recording, Professional LUT color profiles, ARRI color science, Cinema-grade video workflow, and Manual controls like AE Lock, White Balance Lock, and Focus Lock.
Honor has not yet announced the complete specs, but multiple reports indicate the Robot Phone might include a 200MP main camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a titanium alloy three-axis robotic gimbal: AI-powered subject tracking and advanced stabilization for cinematic video recording. The robotic camera system is likely to automatically follow the subjects and allow smoother video capture than conventional phone stabilization systems.
Robot Phone is specially designed to redefine the relationship between AI and mobile phones. Previously, demonstrations showed the device’s robotic camera physically moving to track users, automatically framing subjects, and assisting with video recording and video calls without manual adjustments.
