New Delhi: Honor has just released news of a new partnership with ARRI, one of the world’s top camera manufacturers, aimed at enhancing smartphone camera and video capabilities. The two companies will officially introduce the imaging technology of the next generation Honor Robot Phone to Honor’s Imaging Technology Launch Event on July 28.
The Honor Robot Phone is going to feature an innovative design and cutting-edge AI lens system, which have already garnered significant interest in the market. It comes with a robotic camera module that has a 3-axis gimbal, which facilitates movement and smooth chase of subjects and enables cinematic video shooting. Honor states that the smartphone is specially designed to offer a professional filming experience and also serves as an AI-powered assistant.
With ARRI as its cooperation partner, Honor is dedicated to delivering professional filmmaking technology on smartphones. It’s no secret that ARRI exists and has a place in the film world since it has many highly rated cinema cameras that feature in many Hollywood movies and TV productions. The partnership should help to enhance color accuracy, video quality, and the overall cinematic experience of the Robot Phone.
In addition, at the camera launch, Honor introduced a new logo, the “Honor Ring.” So, the company hasn’t yet commented on whether the logo is a new product, a new brand identity, or an upcoming ecosystem of devices. Additional information will be provided at the upcoming event.
The Robot Phone is reportedly scheduled for official release starting August 2026 (Honor hasn’t officially announced a release date yet).
