New Delhi: Honor has recently announced and teased its upcoming Honor Magic9 series. Honor is gearing up to introduce its Magic9 series in September 2026. Reports indicated it includes Magic9, Magic9 Pro, and Magic9 Pro Max, although the exact lineup has not officially been confirmed yet by the company.
Magic9 Pro is widely rumored to use Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, which is potentially based on a 2nm process. Previous leaks have also mentioned the higher-end Gen 6 version for the Pro models.
Pro models are rumored to feature a 6.8-6.85-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This might represent notable changes from Honor’s heavily curved flagship displays. Magic9 Pro might feature dual 200MP cameras, with Honor reported to be working with ARRI on imaging.
One of the major rumored updates is a battery around 8,000mAh, potentially coupled with 120W wired fast charging on the Pro model.
Reports also suggested Honor could unveil an upgraded 3D face-recognition system along with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Out of the box, it runs on MagicOS 11 based on Android 17 with Honor’s next-generation AI features. Previous reports from Chinese sources have indicated that the Honor Magic9 series was tentatively scheduled for October, with Honor’s Robot Phone expected in August.
