New Delhi: According to some sources, it has been reported that Google is going to introduce its Pixel 10a in February. Some leaks suggested that the Pixel 10a will get the same design as its predecessor. Google has been sticking to a flat plastic back and a small pill-shaped island that will most likely house a dual camera setup. The Pixel 10a may carry over the same thick bezels as last year. To give users a quick recap. Google’s Pixel A series devices historically have had thick bezels to differentiate them from the company’s premium offerings.
The Pixel 10a is stated to feature the same 6.3-inhc OLED panel as last year. Rumours also have it that Google will stick to the same LTPS technology, which means the screen won’t be able to go down to 1Hz. Google usually packs in its latest Tensor chipset on Pixel A series devices, but this time, it may be going the Apple way. The Pixel 10a will be powered by the Tensor G4 chip, which made its debut on the Pixel 9 series instead of the newer Tensor G5 processor.
Google may be sticking to the same SoC as last year, the Tensor G5 chip, manufactured by TSMC, may be more expensive than its predecessor. The Tensor G4 chip on the Pixel 10a is stated to get a slight speed boost. The Pixel 10a is expected to feature 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Google is also reported to house the 5,199mAh battery that may have the same charging speed as last year. In some sources, the Google Pixel 10a might be unveiled in February.
