New Delhi: Google has officially started rolling out two latest features for Android users in its Google Photos. This upgrade brings an AI-powered photo editing tool called AI Enhance and video playback speed controls.
The AI-enhanced tool can automatically adjust the lighting, contrast, and colors in a single tap, while the latest video feature lets users control how fast or slow the clip plays. Google is now aiming to make everyday photo editing and video viewing simpler within the application itself.
The latest AI Enhance button is especially designed to improve photos with a single tap quickly. Rather than manually adjusting settings, the users can let the tool automatically fix lighting, contrast, and overall color balance.
This feature works as a one-step edit option, making it easier for users who don’t want to spend time tweaking individual settings. It aims on improving image quality by balancing brightness and colours to make photos look clearer and more polished. This feature is currently rolling out to Android users globally.
The users will see the AI Enhance option in the image editor inside Google Photos. By tapping, it applies automatic adjustments instantly without any extra effort. This actually makes it useful for quick edits, especially for the photos in poor lighting or with uneven exposure.
It acts as a shortcut which is compared to traditional editing tools. Along with photo editing, Google has also unveiled playback speed controls for videos in Google Photos. Google stated that this feature enables users to adjust how fast or slow the video plays.
