New Delhi: Raji: Kaliyuga is a direct sequel to the isometric action-adventure game Raji: An Ancient Epic, developed by Nodding Heads Games. This latest sequel not only follows up on the story from the first part, but also completely changes the perspective and the mechanics. This latest Raji: Kaliyuga will be the third-person action-adventure, which is a significant change from the isometric playstyle of the first part. This sequel will also feature the latest playable character alongside Raji, the protagonist.

Raji: Kaliyuga has no official release date yet announced or confirmed by the company, and the developers have mentioned that the game is still a little way off. The game’s Steam page only mentions Coming Soon in the release date section. This is likely towards the game releasing either in late 2026 or early 2027. Raji Kaliyuga will become available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Raji Kaliyuga will be added to the Xbox Game Pass on day one of its release.
Kaliyuga is a direct sequel to the story of An Ancient Epic. After the ancient asura warlord, Mahabalasura, unsealed the doors to heaven, it shattered the divine equilibrium and plunged all the realms into an endless war. Kaliyuga takes place in this state of turmoil, as Raji and her brother Darsh have to fight their way through the nine realms to reach the Eternal Summit. The significant gameplay changes seen in Kaliyuga start with the perspective changes from the isometric to the third-person view. Darsh is now a playable character in Raji: Kaliyuga, and he uses Siddhis or supernatural powers to control elements, gravity, and energy. Players will be able to enjoy the game as both Raji and Darsh, at the same time learning about their inner struggles and motivations.
