New Delhi: Nintendo announced on Wednesday that they have sold more than 3.5 million Switch 2 units in the first four days after its launch, making the console the company’s fastest-selling gaming device to date. Last month, the Kyoto-based company forecast Switch 2 sales would reach 15 million during the current financial year ending next March.
Fans from every corner of the world are showing their enthusiasm for Nintendo Switch 2 as an upgraded way to play at home and on the go, Nintendo of America President and Chief Operating Officer Doug Bowser said in a statement.

Nintendo has sold 152 million Switch devices since it was first launched in 2017, creating a games juggernaut with titles including The Legend of Zelda and the COVID-19 pandemic breakout hit Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
The more powerful second-generation version, which went on sale on June 5, bears many similarities with its predecessor but offers a larger screen and improved graphics. It is sold with titles, including Mario Kart World.

It is 4.5 inches tall, 10.7 inches wide, and 55 inches thick with the Joy-Con 2 controllers attached. Its weight will be around 88 lbs. It comes with a Capacitive touch screen, a 7.9-inch wide colour gamut LCD screen with HDR10 support, and VRR up to 120Hz. There is a 256GB UFS storage type. There is a communication feature with wireless LAN (Wi-Fi 6) and Bluetooth. There are stereo speakers for good audio quality. There are 2 USB-C connectors, with a 3.5mm 4-contact stereo mini-plug. It features a 5220mAh internal battery. If we discuss the battery life, it will be around approx. 2 – 6.5 hours, and the charging time will be around approx. 3 hours. This Switch has broken all the records in the world.
