New Delhi: Qualcomm has recently launched a Snapdragon 6 series latest processor for the mid-range smartphone, and this processor is named as Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, which is built on 4nm process node, the latest chip is stated to offer an improved CPU and GPU performance, as well as it going to support for 200MP photos and high-resolution of video from mid-range smartphones. According to the company, the latest chip is designed to deliver faster performance, better gaming, and improved photography.
Qualcomm also stated that the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 is going to offer up to 36% better CPU performance and 59% faster GPU performance compared to the last generation Snapdragon 6 series platform. This translates to faster application launches, smoother multitasking, and more responsive overall performance of the smartphone. Gaming performance also gets a boost, with the support for up to 144 FPS at the FHD+ resolution, enhanced graphics with the Variable Rate Shading, and reduced touch latency through Qualcomm Game Quick Touch.
Qualcomm has not officially confirmed those specific devices that will be going to launch with this latest Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, but the platform is likely to be aimed at mid-range smartphones from the global brands. According to some reports, brands like Xiaomi, OPPO, and Motorola are expected to feature the latest chip in their upcoming models.
