It’s finally time for the latest PlayStation barnstormer as the Ghost of Yotei swiftly approaches to plunge players straight back into one of the most revolutionary experiences to welcome players into the PS5 era. It makes it easy for the players to get lost in what’s available now for them, after Slime Rancher 2 left early access and the Baby Steps launched, but the latest AAA game that feels like a quintuple-A game is pretty hard to ignore.

Ghost of Tsushima was the barnstormer on the PS4, sharing an incredibly expansive and the endlessly explorable open world with the an electric combat system to boot, but when it came to PS5 in its Director’s Cut, it instantly bloomed to life as one of the most premium experiences that the console has to offer, and frankly, it’s still in the upper echelons of the experiences that the users can have on the platform. Its sequel takes us to the Yotei next, across the sprawling latest location with the latest protagonist and the new adventure to explore, and though they still don’t know heaps about the game itself beyond some latest weapon play.
The many joys of the game will come from reliving the grand gameplay of its predecessor with the latest lick of paint, but time will tell if that’s going to be enough to make this sequel as revolutionary as the trot across Tsushima. There is not long to wait before it arrives, though, so users soon have it in their hands to check themselves.
