GeForce RTX 5090 ROG Matrix by ASUS pushes limits with 800W power draw

New Delhi: ASUS might to cross their limits in terms of making graphic cards, because in some sources it is came to know that ASUS is setting an mark its 30th anniversary in the graphics card business with the launch of GeForce RTX 5090 30th Anniversary Limited Edition, it is unveiled yesterday in the most significant event of gaming Gamescom 2025 ONL, in which they introduced around 20+ games trailer and some of the games are available to play on their Xbox Consoles and on Steam, and those games graphics are mind blowing because there are almost 20+ games are only action-RPG games, with full of brutal fighting, combat, and etc. Those games are amazing after seeing their trailer, and some of the games will be introduced in 2026.

The card features both 12V- 2×6 and GC-HPWR power options, with support for up to 800W through both power connectors, which is much higher than the standard RTX 5090 cards currently available- 575-600W, and this one would be the most powerful graphics card ever to be introduced for gamers. Cooling is handled by a quad-fan design, a setup already familiar from the ROG Astral series. The card uses a patented vapour chamber and liquid metal; the card makes use of copper cooling.

The GeForce RTX 5090 is based on the Blackwell architecture and comes with 21760 CUDA cores and 32GB of GDDR7 memory on a 512-bit bus. ASUS has confirmed that it will ship with the 2730 MHz boost in 800W mode, which offers 10% higher performance. ASUS has not yet provided details on the release date or availability for the limited-edition card. The card can be won through the Gamescom event; there will only be 1000 units made. By just discussing specifications of this graphics card, games will run much smoother and cooler on this graphics card, making them ideal for playing on PCs.
