New Delhi: Krafton India has announced that BGMI Lite will hit Indian shores by the end of 2026. The lighter version of Battlegrounds Mobile India is expected to usher the Battle Royale game in the budget and older smartphone users.
Battlegrounds Mobile India has been officially announced by Krafton India as a new version of its popular game BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India), in the form of a new “ Lite” version. The game is expected to see release in India towards the end of 2026. Krafton has yet to disclose the complete specs, and gameplay info or minimum device specs, but the main purpose of this announcement is to get BGMI out of the hands of fewer people.
Better gaming on budget phones
The most anticipated benefit of BGMI Lite is that it will benefit lower-end smartphones users. Play a standard version of BGMI can tax the RAM, less storage, and weaker processors of a phone. This could cause frame drops and faster to play on basic machines.
