New Delhi: Amkette has officially unveiled its latest EvoFox Deck 2 gamepad in India, with the main focus on the multi-platform compatibility across Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Nintendo Switch devices. Amkette has also stated that the controller is especially designed primarily for gaming devices, but also supports PCs and consoles through Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, it brings cross-platform support, Hall Effect joysticks and triggers, macro buttons, and RGB lighting. EVoFox Deck 2 succeeds the original EvoFox Deck, which was introduced in July 2024.
This controller is priced at Rs 2,999, and it is available in two color options: Black and White. It is also available to purchase via e-commerce platforms and several select retail stores across India. EvoFox Deck 2 also supports Android and iOS devices, Windows PCs, macOS devices, and the Nintendo Switch via Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. Amkette has also stated that it is compatible with cloud gaming and console streaming services such as Xbox Cloud Gaming and PlayStation Remote Play, alongside retro gaming through emulator applications.
The EvoFox Dojo companion application also helps users discover controller-supported games and manage setup on the compatible devices. The device is equipped with an 800mAh battery that is promised to offer up to four to six hours of playtime. The controller features the Magnetic Hall Effect 3D joysticks, and it is especially designed to minimize the stick drift by reducing mechanical wear. It also comes with Magnetic Hall Effect L2 and R2 triggers, which provide smoother and more responsive input. It also supports the Keylinker application for Android, allowing users to map on-screen touch controls to physical buttons in supported games.
EvoFox Deck 2 also includes the programmable macro buttons that will enable users to record and trigger custom input sequences. It also provides custom RGB lighting with multiple modes and adjustable brightness, alongside the dual vibration motors, featuring adjustable intensity. Control features include Precision Mode, which reduces the joystick sensitivity, and Accuracy Mode, which allows the axis-locked movement. It also comes with an ergonomic grip, an anti-slip phone holder, a rechargeable battery with auto-sleep power saving, and USB Type-C charging.
