New Delhi: Sony State of Play has recently dropped an 30-minute gameplay footage of the 007 First Light, and also let the users when it coming out, the highly anticipated James Bond game, IO interactive’s 007 First Light will going to release on March 27, 2026, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and the PC. The 007 First Light serves as an origin story for IO’s Bond, charting the iconic spy’s early days as a young, resourceful, and sometimes reckless new recruit, as part of what the studio hopes will become a trilogy. The game features Patrick Gibson as the voice and the motion capture actor for James Bond, alongside classic characters like M, Q, and Miss Moneypenny.

Players can approach objectives through what I call the Creative Approach, choosing between stealth infiltration, action-packed combat, or a combination of both. The gameplay showcases included missions ranging from the covert operations at chess tournaments to high-speed chases and aerial stunts. The title’s on pre-order starting at the cost of $69.99, and there will also be a premium Legacy edition of the game, priced at $299.99, which will include exclusive content and collectables.
Any users who pre-order the standard $69.99 digital edition will receive a free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition, which includes 24 hours of early access and exclusive cosmetic content. The premium Legacy Edition adds a Golden Gun figurine with the secret compartment, certificate of authenticity, and the magnetic steel case. This marks the first major James Bond video game release in over a decade, with IO Interactive leveraging their expertise from the acclaimed Hitman series to create what they describe as a wholly original Bond experience, built from the ground up using their proprietary Glacier engine.
