New Delhi: After launching the flagship iQOO 15, the Chinese smartphone brand iQOO has recently confirmed that an Ultra version will launch soon globally. The iQOO 15 Ultra will be unveiled in its home country before the Spring event begins on February 17, 2026. Highlighting, an announcement regarding the global launch of the iQOO 15 Ultra has not been made yet.
According to some sources and reports, it has suggested that the iQOO 15 Ultra is being developed with the niche audience in mind, particularly gamers, content creators, and esports-focused users. The device is expected to include hardware gaming features such as shoulder trigger buttons and an in-built active cooling fan system to optimise thermals during extended sessions. The device is stated to share much of its hardware with the standard iQOO 15.
This might include a 6.85-inch flat LTPO AMOLED display with a 2K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor embedded under the screen. The display may support up to 165Hz of refresh rate, which is also seen on the OnePlus 15. Powering the device could be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which is paired with the massive 7,000mAh battery pack supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
In terms of cameras, the iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to come with a triple rear camera system, each using the 50MP sensor. It might run on the OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, and it is also likely to carry IP68 + IP69 certification for dust and water resistance. Further details about the device may surface as the launch date nears.
