New Delhi: Samsung has recently unveiled its latest Galaxy Watch 8 series in India. Both watches feature cutting-edge specs that offer users exciting tech features. The latest Galaxy Watch 8 Series will run on OneUI 8 Watch and Gemini out of the box, and also features Now Bar. The rotating bezel makes a reentry with the Watch 8 Classic. Galaxy Watch 8 comes in 44mm and 40mm sizes, and in Graphite and Silver. The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic only has the 46mm variant and comes in Black and White.

The Galaxy Watch 8 features a 1.34-inch Super AMOLED always-on display with a peak brightness of 3000 nits, while the 44mm model has a 1.47-inch Super AMOLED always-on screen with a similar brightness. The 40mm watch 8 holds a 325mAh battery while the 44mm model gets a 435mAh cell—the watch 8 Classic ships with a 445mAh battery.
Both the Watch 8 Series smartwatches run on a 3nm Exynos W1000 processor. The Watch 8 offers 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, while the Watch 8 Classic has 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. They operate on WearOS 6.
This Watch 8 Series features a BioActive sensor that tracks health stats, including sleep quality, and detects moderate to severe signs of sleep apnea, providing bedtime guidance to measure circadian rhythm. Vascular Load helps to monitor the stress levels on the user’s vascular system during sleep.

It also introduced the Antioxidant Index in a smartwatch, enabling users to measure carotenoid levels in five seconds. Galaxy Watch 8 Series offers personalised fitness insights. Running Coach calculates fitness level from 1 to 10 and develops a tailored training plan complete with real-time guidance and insights. High Stress alerts will now immediately signal, allowing users to take a break and help manage their stress levels in real-time.
The Galaxy Watch 8 starts from Rs 32,999 (40mm) and Rs 35,999 for the 44mm. The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic begins at Rs 46,999. Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic are available for pre-order, with the general availability starting from July 25 on the official Samsung website and e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.
