New Delhi: Samsung has started rolling out its One UI 8.0 update to its entry-level smartphones. The latest affordable Galaxy device will also get this latest update, which is the Galaxy A06. This device was launched last year. Presently, the Galaxy A07 has also received this update, while the Galaxy F15 received it two days ago. But there is one notable thing to highlight, which is that One UI 8.0 will be the last major software update for the Galaxy A06 device.
Samsung has released the Android 16-based One UI 8.0 update for the Galaxy A06. The latest update is now available in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. It comes with the bearing firmware version A065FXXU7CYJ8 and has a download size of around 2.3GB. Other countries will get the update soon. This update also includes the September 2025 Security patch to make the phone more secure than earlier, but it is disappointing that Samsung didn’t include the October 2025 security patch with the update.
OneUI 8.0 based on Android 16 brings several latest and improved features to the Galaxy A06, including the latest designed Quick Share screen that has a full-screen design, featuring two separate tabs for send and receive. The weather application has gained the latest visuals, featuring the character that responds to current weather conditions. The Calendar, Clock, and Reminder applications have received improved bulk item management features for the calendar entries, alarms, and reminders. Modes and Routines now have more actions and conditions.
