New Delhi: Formovie, the Mi ecosystem joint venture between Appotronics Corporation and Xiaomi, has launched its latest offering, Formovie Theater Premium, in India. This feature-rich, advanced projector was officially launched on Thursday 5th December,redefining immersive home entertainment experiences. This is the first UST projector in the market boasting a capacious screen of up to 150 inches.
Formovie Theater Premium boasts advanced and updated features and is the direct successor to Formovie Theater, which has already revolutionised the home entertainment segment. The Theater Premium offers 25 per cent clearer visuals than its predecessor and delivers higher brightness, with an output of up to 2,200 lumens and a contrast ratio of 3,000:1. The projector is powered by ALPD®️ RGB+ 4.0 triple laser technology, significantly enhancing image quality by providing a wider colour gamut and deeper contrasts.

He says that the projector’s Gaming Mode will help gamers play their favourite games on a huge screen with zero lag. With support for Dolby Atmos and DTS, the projector’s sound quality delivers a true cinema-like experience.
“The projector is equipped with dual 15W Bowers & Wilkins speakers, featuring a 990cc sound chamber for deep bass, powerful mids, and sharper highs. The integrated speakers eliminate the need for additional soundbars, providing an oceanic audio experience,” adds Mr Motwani.
Elegantly fitting into modern-day smart rooms, the Formovie Theater Premium has an ultra-short 0.21:1 throw ratio, meaning a large 150-inch screen can be projected by placing the projector just 42 cm (16.5 inches) away from the wall. It is also integrated with Google TV, ensuring access to all major streaming platforms.
Catering to home entertainment consumers actively seeking higher resolution, the Theater Premium supports 4K resolution and can play Dolby Vision and HDR10 content, including Blu-ray and other sources. HDR10+ decoding is also supported.
Adding to the convenience for users, the projector comes with built-in Google Assistant, allowing them to control the device with voice commands. Equipped with the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology, it offers faster and more reliable internet connectivity.
