New Delhi: So finally, after many brands announced their flagship devices to launch this month, Poco has also announced and locked its latest device, which is going to launch on November 26 with its next global launch event. The company has confirmed that they are going to roll out its latest model under its F-series; the spotlight will be on the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra. The standard Poco F8 might not join them at the event, so this launch focuses on the higher-end models. There is also discussion about the possibility that Poco’s model could ship with slightly smaller battery capacities than their Redmi counterparts. The upcoming Poco F8 Pro might feature a 6.59-inch OLED display, and the larger F8 Ultra might move up to a 6.9-inch display. Both are expected to support 1.5K resolution with the highest 120Hz of refresh rate, which sounds like the familiar setup for the phones that are targeting performance-focused users. The software part is expected to be HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. According to some sources, it has been reported that it will point to Snapdragon’s top-tier platform for both phones. The F8 Pro may use the Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the Ultra model could step up to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. On the front, both devices might carry a 20MP selfie shooter.
And on the rear back panel, the Pro model is stated to have a 50MP primary camera sensor with OIS support for stable video recording, an 8MP ultra-wide camera sensor, and a 50MP telephoto camera sensor. The Ultra model might go further; it will have three separate 50MP sensors for primary, ultra-wide, and periscope telephoto setups. In some leaks, it has also been mentioned that the extra rear speaker will be available only on the Ultra model. Both devices may support 100W wired charging; the Ultra could add 50W wireless charging to the mix.
