New Delhi: Samsung has announced their latest flagship smartphone chipset, which is will be their only the most known chipset, which has been used in many Samsung’s smartphone, like it has been used in mid-range segment, and also in budget segment, and there are many of the users who used this chipset, and they find some issues in this, which are basically the heating issues, that if the users use the smartphone for longer period in a day, so they find that it get’s heat up and chipset performance become much lower like it will lag in the gaming, it may delays on the screen while operating. So because of these issues, Samsung has decided to upgrade its Exynos chipset, by which the users can’t face those previous issues like heating up or lagging during gaming or performing any task.
After all of these, Samsung has announced its latest Exynos 2600, which may be used in its upcoming 2026 Samsung S26 Series, as this chipset may be used by Samsung’s Foundry, and it will be fabricated on a 2nm chipset, which might be introduced in the latest S26 series. In some of the sources, it has been reported that it might be the first 2nm chip to hit the Indian markets.
Samsung’s Exynos 2600 will be the first chipset which will made on Samsung’s Foundry 2nm GAA fabrication process, it means that it will be considering the facts stated the above, it may be the first 2nm chip in the market, placing the South Korean firm a step ahead of the Apple, MediaTek, and most known processor Qualcomm Snapdragon. There is some news in which it is stated that Samsung’s earnings call for the Q2 2025, which was held earlier, revealed that Samsung’s smartphone business performed admirably, despite the company’s chip struggles.
Samsung’s struggles in the semiconductor market may also come to an end soon, which will be great news for them, because now they can focus on the upcoming devices and on their other changes in semiconductor. Exynos 2600 will likely be the world’s first 2nm chipset, as we discussed above. Samsung has also signed a massive $16.5 billion deal with Tesla for the 2nm chips. These latest moves will directly attract customers for its advanced nodes and shoot up its share price.
Exynos 2600 previous leaks and rumors reveal that it has a 10-core CPU, consisting of one prime CPU core, three big CPU cores, six performance CPU cores, and the Xclipse 960 GPU, which is 15% more powerful than Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, Adreno 830 GPU. It will be interesting to see how it holds up against the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2, as users get closer to the chipset’s launch.
