New Delhi: Qualcomm is all set to host their Snapdragon Summit 2025 next month. The United States chip designer will officially announce the next-generation SoC, Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. According to some sources, it is rumored that Qualcomm may launch two Snapdragon 8 series chips. According to some sources, Qualcomm could launch Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, in which the company did not launch Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, but introduced the Snapdragon 8 Elite instead.
Qualcomm is working on the SM8845 flagship chip, which would be marketed as Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. It looks like this product might offer performance equivalent to the Snapdragon 8 Elite. According to rumors, the 8 Gen 5 may be a little less powerful than the second-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, but it adopts an enhanced manufacturing process. Samsung is highly likely to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 in the Galaxy S26 Ultra globally. The other two models from the lineup may split chip between Exynos and Snapdragon.
Qualcomm may have planned to offer two flagship mobile chips, which were starting this year itself. The Elite branding may be reserved for the highest-end variant, while the 8 Gen X would be an alternative. In some sources it has came to know that Samsung also coming with their latest Exynos 2600 chipset, which will be much powerful for their upcoming Samsung S26 Series lineup, in which the series they will use this chip, by which it will produce powerful performance by which it can compete with those known giant processor like MediaTek, and Qualcomm.
But after the rumors about the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, both of which might easily compete with the latest upcoming Exynos 2600 chip. In terms of performance, it might to get much competition, by which the it will love see the performance which both of them provide to the users in terms of gaming, and the performance power will actually known after the gaming test and after some heavy multitasking in the smartphone, by then only it might to know about performance of these both processors.
