New Delhi: DJI has officially introduced its Osmo 360 II globally at IFA 2026 in Berlin. This latest 360-degree camera builds on the DJI’s experience in handheld imaging, aerial photography and professional stabilization systems. Osmo 360 II comes on 12 years of DJI’s handheld imaging experience, by including distortion control from its aerial photography systems, stabilization technology from the professional Ronin gimbal series and color science developed across successive Osmo Action generations.
It also builds on the DJI’s Osmo 360 360-degree camera and Avata 360 360-degree drone. Its camera uses a 1-inch square HDR image sensor that increases sensor utilization by 25% while reducing the power consumption. It also maintains the similar 360-degree image field as traditional 1-inch rectangular sensor and provides up to 14.5 stops of dynamic range with 2.4µm pixels. The company also said that this doubles the brightness range.
Osmo 360 II also supports 8K/60fps 360-degree video recording and uses a high-performance chip for high-speed action. AI SuperNight 2.0 is going to available for low-light recording, while 10-bit color depth and D-Log M are been supported across all video formats, with more than one billion colors. Its photo and creative video modes going to include these things:
- 120MP HDR 360-degree photos
- 16K 360-degree timelapse
- Clouds mode for condensing sky movement
- 64x Pano Slow Motion by using AI frame interpolation in DJI Studio, equivalent to cropped 8K/480fps
- 8K/120fps Vortex mode for 360-degree slow-motion video
Osmo 360 II is also going to support the stabilization for the mountain biking, road cycling, skiing and motorcycling. A Sports Dashboard can overlay cycling data on videos, while Motion Blur is available for compatible footage. For motorcycling, Gesture Control and Voice Control enable recording to be started without releasing the throttle. Osmo 360 II going to features an all-new replaceable lens design, with both lenses by using an ultra-hard optical film for scratch and wear resistance. Damaged lenses can also be replaced, the camera weighs around 183g and has 105GB of built-in storage which is might enough.
Battery life is been rated at up to 100 minutes of the continuous recording at 8K/30fps, while fast charging can reach 80% in just 22 minutes. Battery Extension Rod can also going to expand runtime by 180 minutes. Audio features going to include a four-microphone array and wind-noise reduction design. Camera uses a dual-direction quick-release design that allows magentic attachment on both sides, while a 1/4-inch thread supports DJI Osmo ecosystem accessories and traditional camera equipment. Updated DJI Mimo application also adds Spotlight Follow, which keeps selected subject centered as the camera rotates. A latest NFC area allows one-tap connection to DJI Mimo for transferring footage or opening the editing page.
DJI Osmo 360 II Standard Combo is priced at $688 (roughly Rs 65,080), while the Adventure Combo priced at $864 (roughly Rs 81,705). The company is showcasing the camera at IFA 2026 in Berlin from September 4 to 8.
