New Delhi: Dell has officially announced its premium consumer laptop lineup in India with its four latest models focused on different audiences. Dell has introduced these models: Dell XPS 13, Dell 14S, Dell 16S, and Alienware 15. These latest Dell 14S and Dell 16S are part of Dell’s simplified branding strategy, replacing the earlier Inspiron naming while providing built-in AI capabilities.
Dell XPS 13
Dell’s thinnest and lightest XPS laptop yet, introduced by the company. It is powered by the Intel Core Series 3 processors with Copilot+ PC features and a premium CNC-machined aluminum chassis. It is specially designed for students, professionals, and frequent travelers. It features a 13.4-inch 2.5K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate and thin bezels. There is Intel integrated graphics with up to 16GB RAM and SSD storage. In terms of connectivity, it gets Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, USB-C, and Thunderbolt ports.
Dell claims all-day battery life, with independent reviews reporting around 14 hours of mixed use.
Dell 14S
Dell 14S is focused on professionals, students, and hybrid workers. It features a 14-inch display with Intel Core Ultra processors with built-in Copilot+ AI experiences. It has a slim aluminum design with long battery life and AI-assisted productivity features. However, the XPS lineup provides a premium look and feel. Optional OLED display configurations are available in several markets.
Dell 16S
Dell 16S is specially designed for users who need more screen space for multitasking, editing, or creative work. It has a large 16-inch display with Intel Core Ultra processors with Copilot+ PC support. It has a bigger battery than the Dell 14S model with better thermal design for sustained workloads. It aims at creators, business users, and those replacing desktop PCs.
Alienware 15
Dell has refreshed the Alienware 15 with upgraded hardware while keeping it more affordable than the flagship Area-51 series. It has Intel Core 7 processor options with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU. It has a high-refresh-rate gaming display with an advanced Alienware cooling system. AlienFX RGB keyboard with fast DDR5 memory and PCIe Gen4 SSD storage.
This laptop is specially designed for AAA gaming, streaming, content creation, and AI workloads. Dell has positioned it as an accessible premium gaming laptop compared to its larger Alienware models.
Pricing
Dell XPS 13 is priced at Rs 89,990, Dell 14S is priced at Rs 76,940, Dell 16S is priced at Rs 80,400, and Alienware 15 is priced at Rs 1,49,990. However, Dell is also offering launch benefits such as exchange offers, bank discounts, and expanded warranty promotions for a limited period.
