Ethereum ETFs’ unprecedented rally;$1.85 billion inflows last week

In the latest proof of the cryptocurrency market going mainstream, Ethereum-based Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) led by BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) have witnessed an unprecedented surge in inflows, with an estimated $1.85 billion in inflows just last week.

Besides ETHA, even smaller funds like Bitwise’s ETHW and Greyscale’s Mini Ethereum Trust have seen high inflows, even higher than Bitcoin ETFs.

According to cryptocurrency-focused investment research platform SoSoValue, Ethereum’s ETF value now stands at $19.6 billion, accounting for roughly 4.57% of the total value of all cryptocurrencies.

According to analysts, Ethereum’s (ETH) unique yield-bearing features, including post-upgrade staking and richer yield mechanics, have made it the second major allocation after Bitcoin.

The demand for cryptocurrency investments is seeing a renewed interest in the last few weeks, in particular as the US Congress debates crypto-related bills that the Trump administration is keen to implement.

Encouraged by this, many institutions have started to actively buy Ethereum ETFs. BitMine Immersion Technologies reportedly became the largest corporate holder of ETH after buying $2 billion worth of Ethereum this month. Other institutional investors collectively hold 2.31 million ETH tokens, amounting to about 1.91% of the total supply, according to a report by Strategic Ether Reserves.

Industry watchers are predicting an even higher valuation of ETH from the current $3,880, touching $4,000 soon and even outperforming Bitcoin in the next six months.
